Cass Lake is located 4 1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities in North Central Minnesota. It is the home of the Chippewa National Forest and Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Five (5) of Minnesota’s largest lakes are located here.

Big Lake is another favorite among local guides, especially for perch, bass, and panfish.
The waters offer far more than great fishing – boating, water skiing, and canoeing are other popular activities. Back ashore, Cass Lake sits at the hub of over 150 miles of multi-use trails for bicyclists, cross-country skiers, horseback riders, and hikers.
